Devlog 1 - Pre-Production

With the beginning of the new semester, the team spent time this week reviewing the updated schedule and the JIRA as we move into production for the second half of the year. All of the pre-production work completed last semester has helped prepare the team for the production portion of the class. Since receiving the new schedule, the team did have to regroup and update the schedule to match the new deadlines given for the semester. This aided the team in meeting and reviewing on all the new duties and tasks that need to be completed. Besides this, the team also had the chance to review the JIRA created from last semester and make some changes for moving forward into production. This JIRA served as a base in order to help the team create weekly sprints to organize for the new semester. Each sprint being organized by user story and task, which relate to the broader epics. The team is general is aiming to have a completed Alpha build by the end of the year, instead of trying to aim for a Gold. The hope is that by making the epics orient around different levels and important sections within the game, the team will have more time to create a completed product from start to finish in an Alpha form, instead of a shorter, incomplete, but polished product.
